Many college students have gone through money problems during his or her college career.

With the new Campus Special mobile app, students will have their own personal coupon book in the palm of their hands.

The Campus Special mobile app was launched to 150 universities nationwide in August for students to download on their iPhones or Androids for free. The app combines the $100 coupon book that is available at the beginning of every semester for Ole Miss students with online food ordering from favorite local spots.

For University of Mississippi students who frequent the Oxford University Transit buses, a new iPhone app could mean less frustration and more progress at bus stops.

Busvetica is an application for mobile Apple products that locates the nearest bus stop and displays the next bus arrival time.

The Apple application, which works with the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, was developed by Ian Meyer and his company Adelie Software. He said the idea for the app came to him upon observing confusing bus arrival times in his town of Chapel Hill, N.C.

After seven years of battling pancreatic cancer, Steve Jobs has died at age 56, leaving behind a legacy of technological innovation and imagination for generations to come.
Fans and followers are mourning the passing of the Apple visionary and founder of one of the most successful businesses in the world with memorials and testimonies, often created with devices that Jobs invented.
Personally, my mother has often mocked that we should have bought stock in Apple long ago, with the numerous iPods, iBooks, iPhones and so on that have wandered through our house.

The 21st century is clearly the technology era.

The 21st century is clearly the technology era.

We are constantly inventing new products that change the way we live. If we are not actually inventing new products, we are engineering older products to make them bigger and better.

Naturally, living in a very progressive time, we have a desire to look directly at what could be, not what has been. Arguably since the New Deal of Franklin Roosevelt, we Americans have become accustomed to thinking in this manner.

While it might not seem logical, this is steadily becoming a problem.

When you hear the word “app” as it relates to cell phones, you normally first think of Apple’s App Store.

When you hear the word “app” as it relates to cell phones, you normally first think of Apple’s App Store.

Apple has created an extremely successful, if not the most successful, application marketplace to date.

While many competitors have tried to emulate Apple in this regard, they fall short of the sheer number of applications available and the intuitiveness of Apple’s App Store.

The iPhone is no longer exclusive to AT&T.

The iPhone is no longer exclusive to AT&T.

Starting Feb. 10, those with Verizon as their service provider will have the option to purchase an iPhone. This is a large step for Apple and the mobile phone community.

For those who have complained (myself included) of poor AT&T service, we now have some form of respite. Already AT&T is jockeying to steal and/or keep iPhone customers.

1. We Really Don’t Like the Earth: Hey, remember that whole “unprecedented, horrific ecological disaster in the Gulf of Mexico” thing? Yeah, I sort of do too. I, like you, was pretty busy with getting prepped for Jersey Shore 2: Snooki 3D. We have priorities in America, people. Obviously, a problem we can’t see firsthand is not quite as real as the Tivo-ed Jersey Shore recap episode in front of us. And let’s face it, five thousand feet underwater is pretty hard to see. Unless you’re an oil-drenched fish.
