“I thought we just played really well today,” head coach Mike Bianco said. “It always starts on the mound, and Bobby (Wahl) gave us a great effort. I thought he had an electric fastball today, and we stuck with it a lot to get us that deep into the game.”

If No. 16 Ole Miss (18-7, 3-3 SEC) thought its first two weekends of Southeastern Conference action was tough, it’ll think this weekend is nearly impossible as the Florida Gators (23-2, 5-1 SEC), who are ranked No. 1 in the nation, come in to town for a three-game series starting tonight at Oxford-University Stadium/Swayze Field.
