Two weeks ago, C Spire Wireless rolled out 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) data services in 31 Mississippi markets, including Oxford.The company’s launch allows C Spire customers in the Oxford-University community to enjoy signal strength and speed up to 10 times faster than the previous 3G technology.
C Spire customers must own 4G-ready devices to utilize the new service, however. The 4G LTE service is compatible with a number of devices offered on
C Spire’s network, such as the Apple iPhone, the Motorola Photon Q and the Samsung Galaxy S III.

Every single one of humanity’s problems can be traced back to some form of technology. Think about it: You cannot have a war without weapons, and you cannot waste all of your productive time on video games without game consoles.

I cannot name a single scientific advancement that has ever made me or anyone else any better off or happier.

Imagine for a second if there were no scientific advancement or technological progress.

Waymon Russell, 40, and Justin Carol, 26, both of Collierville, Tenn., have been apprehended after a police chase that led to the lockdown of Oxford High School on Wednesday, March 23.

Waymon Russell, 40, and Justin Carol, 26, both of Collierville, Tenn., have been apprehended after a police chase that led to the lockdown of Oxford High School on Wednesday, March 23.

Both men have been charged with at least three counts of burglary with further charges pending. According to Oxford police chief Mike Martin, Carol and Russell have been linked to four burglaries in the Oxford area.
