Brandon Bolden – RB – New England Patriots
In Bolden’s rookie season, he has 234 yards on 43 attempts and two touchdowns. Bolden was suspended earlier this season for violating the league’s performance-enhancing substance policy.

Coastal Carolina gave Ole Miss a scare early with a 39-36 lead at halftime, but junior guard Marshall Henderson helped bring the Rebels (2-0) back, as they dominated the second half and won 90-72.

 
Coastal Carolina gave Ole Miss a scare early with a 39-36 lead at halftime, but junior guard Marshall Henderson helped bring the Rebels (2-0) back, as they dominated the second half and won 90-72.
 
Henderson led the team in scoring with 27 points, his second straight 20-plus point game to begin his Ole Miss career. He buried six 3-pointers on 13 attempts and has been a source of enthusiasm for the team and the fans.

The Ole Miss men’s basketball team got the season started the right way with a 93-57 win over Mississippi Valley State Friday night at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Brittney Reese had the most success, winning the gold medal for the U.S. in the women’s long jump. Reese leaped 7.12 meters in the final, which gave her the gold by .05 meters.
 
“It’s a surreal moment,” Reese said in an interview with the Associated Press. “I got very emotional. You do when you’re representing your country.”

LEXINGTON, Ky. – For the second game on the weekend, it was the team that got the big hit and not the most hits that won the contest as No. 10 Ole Miss (21-10, 6-6 SEC) fell to No. 1 Kentucky (30-3, 9-3 SEC) by a score of 8-3 on Sunday.

The Rebels out-hit the Wildcats 11-to-8 in the game, but left eight men stranded on the afternoon, while Kentucky got the big hit in the sixth to take the lead for good on a grand slam from Cameron Flynn. Ole Miss led 2-1 heading into the bottom of the sixth.
