The Ole Miss Rebels defeated the Arkansas Razorbacks 30-27 on Saturday on the foot of senior Bryson Rose’s 31-yard field goal as time expired. While Rose was carried off the field in triumph, the Rebels’ second-straight Southeastern Conference victory was much more than a one-man job.

Defensive line:

The Rebels’ defensive line has been solid so far in 2011 against the pass but has struggled to stop the run. Dorsey was in the middle of an impressive senior season, leading the Rebels in sacks with three and racking up 22 tackles.

The Rebels concluded their third practice of camp Monday evening — the first in shoulder pads.

Afterwards, Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt was impressed by his defense for the second day in a row.

“There is some intensity we are seeing at defense at times,” Nutt said. “Not all of the time, but at times. And I thought the defensive line moved around very well today."

Nutt called out several players on the defensive line and linebacker after practice.
