Last year didn’t go as expected for senior Ole Miss tight end Jamal Mosley.

After signing with the Rebels and Houston Nutt out of junior college, he was expected to be a big part of the Ole Miss offense.

Instead, the constant shuffling of quarterbacks and an offense that struggled to find an identity led to Mosley rarely being used, catching just 12 passes for 166 yards and a touchdown this past season.

Ole Miss head coach Houston Nutt met with members of the media Thursday afternoon after freshmen and transfers arrived.

Nutt told those gathered that everyone except defensive back Denzel Nkemdiche and defensive end Kameron Wood reported to camp.

Nutt said he expects Nkemdiche to report soon.

“It’s just some little school stuff," Nutt said. "We thought he was cleared. He went to summer school all summer (at Ole Miss), so I feel real good about it.”

Bell might not be as highly touted as his Callaway teammate, Aaron Morris, but he possesses all of the tools to be a dependable Division I offensive lineman. He is expected to play center, a position that Ole Miss already has several dependable players at and will likely red shirt to provide quality depth for the future.
