It’s finally happened: 2011 has produced a movie worse and less funny than “The Hangover Part II.”

I’ve mentioned in previous columns that I know next to nothing about football.

I’ve watched an entire Superbowl once from start to finish – and even then it was more of a self-dare than anything else.

Likewise, I know almost nothing about the time-honored tradition in Oxford known as the Grove.

I went twice during my freshman year, if memory serves me correctly. Both times ended in mini-panic attacks that required the use of an inhaler I had at the time.

This week is a slow week in the world of movies.

“Arthur” was released last week, and “Scream 4” will be released Friday.

DVD releases include “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows,” “The King’s Speech,” “Country Strong” and “Bambi.”

So to make up for the lack of killer titles, this week includes a quick preview of the first set of summer blockbusters.
